UNHIP RECORDS - BOLOGNA, ITALY
Started back in 2002 as a vinyl-only label for one-off split singles (Tarwater/Yuppie Flu, Lali Puna/ISAN, Pan American/To Rococo Rot, Land Of The Loops feat. Tipsy/Buckminster Fuzeboard, Fantômas/Melt-Banana). Now the active roster features five kick-ass italian acts (The Death Of Anna Karina, Disco Drive, Settlefish, Egle Sommacal and The Zen Circus & Brian Ritchie) and the split thing still goes on (Califone, The Black Heart Procession, Calexico, Geoff Farina and Ant are amongst the confirmed future releases).

_for demo submissions please read carefully our brutally honest demo policy. we are already getting too many demos for our ears so if you want to send one keep in mind that:
we might not listen to it
we might listen to it and never tell you that we did
we definitely won't be able to answer to any e-mail asking if we have received it, what we think about it, what suggestions do we have or what other labels might be interested in it
if you still think it's worth sending it to us because you really feel we would like it then get in touch. it sounds harsh but we simply do not have the human (and definitely not financial) resources to do otherwise, so we'd rather be honest upfront!!!

certamente non siamo in grado di rispondere a mail che chiedono se il demo è arrivato, se l'abbiamo ascoltato, cosa ne pensiamo o che suggerimenti possiamo avere
perdonate la brutalità che può essere interpretata anche come stronzaggine, è solo che non abbiamo le risorse umane (nè tantomeno finanziarie) che ci permettano di ascoltare tutti i demo. e sarebbe una mancanza di rispetto nei confronti dei gruppi che già pubblichiamo se invece che dedicare il nostro tempo a loro lo dedicassimo ad ascoltare demo che tanto, con grandissima probabilità, non potremmo pubblicare neanche se ci piacessero.
